1940 Buick Special convertible:
One of 3,664 2-door convertible coupes sold for the year. This rare car is about 90% complete, shows some older restoration work, but needs to be completely restored. The motor turns, the body is decent, the top assembly is all here; the only signifigant missing parts we see are the bumpers and they're the same on all 1940 Special and Century so finding a set shouldn't be hard.  Floors are there with some weak spots and there is no rear seat, but it may never have had one. This car is stored under cover. Any questions feel free to ask, I do have more photos or can get some.
Pricing note:  Old Cars Price Guide shows #5 condition (car in need of complete restoration) at 00 and #4 at 200.  If it sells, it sells, if not, it's not like they're making any more of them, a buyer is welcome to buy one from someone else if they don't care for our price.

Shipping: We do not ship vehicles, you'll need to contact a 3rd party carrier to transport the vehicle or come get it yourself.
Terms of sale: All cars are sold AS-IS. These are old cars and many have rust issues, they can have problems which are not apparent without a more detailed inspection and as such we may not be aware of the issues. Any prospective buyer is welcomed to make an appointment to come inspect a car in person prior to buying. Nonrefundable deposit of 10% or 0 whichever is greater due within 7 days. Must be paid in full or arrangements made within 14 days. 30 days storage is included to give you plenty of time to arrange to get the vehicle. We're flexible with weather concerns particularly in the winter; storage on paid cars can be arranged in advance for per month, but if a buyer can't be contacted or is unable to make suitable arrangements, per day storage fees will be applied against the amount that's been paid on the car. We're not unreasonable, but we do need to run this as a proper business.
How to pay: You can pay in person, or have our postman stand in for you.  There is no Paypal on items that cannot be shipped via UPS, USPS, or FedEx, and the fees on this item would be absoloutely insane.  Any questions, just let me know.
