    Offered is this 1966 Chevy Corvair convertible. Please read the entire description and see the embedded pictures below. This is largely complete, but while rusty and rotted, it does have a lot of good parts.
    This looks like a decent car to restore or rebuild, but then you look at it closer and realize it's beyond repair and is being offered as a parts car only. Is is NOT restorable.
    This is largely complete, missing maybe a few odds and ends. I'm told the engine runs; I don't have any keys for this, so I gutted the ignition switch, put in a battery and... nothing. Not even lights, so there is probably a ground issue. The engine does turn over by hand, and surprisingly, still has date-correct Delco-Packard plug wires (original?).
    The interior is pretty nice, including the door and rear seat panels, the bucket seats, the rear seat, dash, steering wheel and the like.
    The convertible top frame is nice, as is most of the trim. The body has spots of rot that make it pretty much just parts car.
    It does roll, so there's that. Take a look at the pictures – they tell the tale better than I do.
    If you're restoring or redoing one of these, this may be worthy of your consideration.
