1979 mercedes-benz 450sl

Description

1979 mercedes-benz 450sl. Condition is Used. Only 93,xxx miles, but has rust that needs to be repaired in the floors and a few other small spots.
Recently ran through inspection, insured, and registered it in my name. All set to enjoy... other than the rust. :-(
If I had more time to work on it I would POR-15 all the rusty metal and make it an enjoyable car.
Runs great. Could really drive it anywhere if it wasn’t for the floors. I wouldn’t drive it in the rain.
The radio works, but the volume control doesn’t always work, making it a little loud. That might be fine for top down cruising.
I think it might need a fuel accumulator since it sometimes has hot start issues. It always starts when cold though. I have a trick to making it start when hot, which is basically to make sure the fuel pump is running constantly to prime the system, instead of only while the motor is cranking.
