Antique Pair of Mason Factory mallards, painted eye

Description

Pair of Mason Decoy Factory, painted eye mallards.  Circa 1910, made in Detroit, MI.  This is a matched pair.  All original paint with no repaints or touch ups, just the way I found them.  The hen is in pretty nice shape, with a little bit of cracking on the left side in the back, some neck putty remains, the bottom is good, left eye has had a glass eye inserted into it probably at the factory, the right eye had a glass eye in it and it's gone, but it is definitely the painted eye grade and you can see where the painted eye is painted.  The drake is 100% original showing a fair amount of wear, and it's definitely a painted eye and matches the hen, the neck putty is gone, and the left side of the head shows quite a bit of wear compared to the right side, it has a few minor shot scars.  It's still a nice pair of painted eye mallards, a hard pair to find if you don't have them.  I purchased them from a hunter and left them just the way I found them.  I'll pay postage in the lower 48 states only.  No returns.
