Ceramic Lord NELSON WARE BCM Milk Water Pitcher & Lid Horse Country Cottage

Description
This item is a vintage Nelson Ware white ceramic Pitcher with a removable hinged metal (tin? aluminum?) lid. There is a thin gold pin stripe on the handle and on the top edge. There is a country scene with two horses, some ducks, a man and woman, a small house or cottage, and a dirt lane on the front. There is a smaller scene on the back that shows three cows. There is a mark on the bottom ~ CY BCM/Nelson Ware Made in England. It can be used for milk, water, or any other liquid!
The Pitcher measures about 7 inches high (to the top of the knob on the metal lid) X 5 inches across (from the spout to the handle) X 3 3/4 inches acros the bottom X 3 inches across the top X 3 1/2 inches across the top (from the spout across to the edge). The Handle measures about 4 inches high X 1 1/4 inches from the Pitcher to the edge of the handle.
I am not sure of its age but it is NOT recent
!
There are a few very tiny edge chips/flea bites on the edge of the spout. There is some surface crazing on the entire pitcher (to be expected considering its age). There are some small surface scratches/marks on the metal Lid. There are some small marks on the inside from the pieces of metal that hold the lid in place (you can probably take that of with some Soft Scrub cleanser). Otherwise this lovely Pitcher is in Very Good condition!
