    Excellent Black Duck Decoy by Gus Wilson South Portland Maine, Turned Head, Carved Wing Relief, Unique Inset Head, Tack Eyes, Weighted on Base.
    Wilson Worked at an auto garage and I am told by Guyette and Schmidt the paints use on decoy were likely from that garage.
    Approx. size:  15"L (bill to tail) x 6 1/4"W (widest part of body) x 7 1/2"H (base to top of head).
    Most of his carvings were after age 50 when he was the Lighthouse keeper...
