Great find! circa 1800's African? Sash/stole trade beads, mud cloth? symbols 4ft

Selling this as part of a local estate that we are handling.  See our other auctions for more Native American artifacts, antiques & collectibles, art and books from the same estate. I am by no means an expert on this type of textile, but believe it to be African, and dating to the 1800's. It measures 48" long, not including the fringes with beads. It is 8" wide. There are a total of 29 glass trade beads attached to it, and looks like there might be a couple missing. Probably made of "mud cloth"? with symbolic designs. Nice condition-no major damage.
