Description

Authentic Kenyan Fly Wisk made with Cow tail hair with a leather handle and animal figurine head . It is a tool to swat or disturb flies or fan oneself in hot humid climates but has carried onto modern society and made popular by 1st Kenyan president Jomo Kenyatta who carried it as a mark of authority. Also used by tribal chiefs as a sign of spirituality and a badge of authority to symbolize their rank, this is also a common tool during spiritual practices.
It modern homes it is hang on walls as a decorative piece and a must have in African celebratory functions where it is swished over head while ululating in joy.
