    Description

This listing is for a pair of relatively solid and fairly straight 1977 and 1978 Oldsmobile Toronado parts cars.
The frame and most of the chassis parts except for the engine will also fit the 1971 - 1978 Cadillac Eldorado automobiles. These cars came from the factory with a very special "wrap around" rear window. One of the special rear windows is still in one of the cars while the rear window is missing from the other car.
I am listing these for a friend who has about 200 cars from the 1950's through the mid-1970's that should be saved rather than crushed. I will try to list several of them here every month. I am starting with a few Oldsmobiles that I had a chance to clean the floors on a few months ago. I also plan to list a 1965 Oldsmobile Jetstar I hardtop, 1965 Starfire hardtop and a 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado soon here on eBay.
These cars are for sale locally so please do not delay if you are at all serious about owning them. As I recall both cars have some very minor rust behind each rear wheel opening. Otherwise, there appears to be very little if any other rusted out sheet metal in either of these cars.
Both cars have the sliding glass sun roofs. The engines, transmissions, differentials, front drive shafts and parts of the front suspension are missing from both cars. The rear axles are included as are a couple of wheels for the back of each car.
No idiot has ever jumped on the roof of either car so that is at least a ,000 bonus if you were to hire a caved in roof fixed by a professional body man.
Please remember, these are Montana cars where we get an average annual moisture amount (including snow) of 12" or less. Cars like these have been neglected for many years with the doors open or missing, windows down or missing and the trunk lid open or missing. Consequently, a car like this will tend to rust from the top down rather than from the bottom up as cars do in the wetter parts of this country or where a lot of salt is used on the roads in the winter months.
Both of these cars come with good transferable Montana paperwork. A forklift is available to help load these "gems in the rough". I may be able to arrange safe and economical delivery depending on where you live and how soon you want these projects. I may add more information as the days go by so please check this listing every couple of days or so. Thanks a lot, Bob Woodburn in Bozeman Montana USA
