    USS HONOLULU SSN 718 ATTACK SUBMARINE~CACHE~30 NOV 1993 CANCELED IN HONOLULU, HI FINE/VERY FINE
    Los Angeles Class Attack Submarine: Laid down, 10 November 1981, at Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock Co., Newport News, VA.; Launched, 24 September 1983; Commissioned, USS Honolulu (SSN-718), 6 July 1985. Honolulu was decommissioned on 2 November 2007 and stricken from the Naval Vessel Register on the same date. Ex-Honolulu entered the Nuclear Powered Ship and Submarine Recycling Program in Bremerton, Washington.
    The forward section of ex-Honolulu was transferred to San Francisco (SSN-711), repairing extensive damage caused by a severe grounding she experienced in 2005. The project was completed on 20 October 2008.
