    Description

    VINTAGE SLEEPER COOT DUCK DECOY MAYNARD CAINE, GANANOQUE, ONTARIO CANADA RARE. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
    Made by Maynard Caine, a well known carver from Gananoque, Ontario in the Thousand Islands.
    Maynard tells me he carved and painted this coot about 15 years ago. He added that he’s been carving decoys for over 40 years and did not make many Coots. He said this was a good find. I’ll bet he made even fewer coots in the sleeper position, making this a rare one indeed.

    Bill looks white in pics but is a light yellow.
    This is the first sleeper coot I’ve come across.
