Three piece (all different species) shorebird decoy set with a willet shorebird on top, an upland plover shorebird in the middle, and a greater yellow-legs shorebird on the bottom wood carvings, confidence decoys, handcarved and painted by Casey Edwards in his antique/vintage style. This beautiful hunting rig of shorebirds measures 21" high while the shorebirds are life-size at, the willet being 14" long, the plover being 10 1/2" long, and the yellow-legs being 12" long, and the stand that Casey also designed and antiqued to display these beauties measures 9" long and 5" wide. There is carved and painted feather detail throughout these shorebirds, (they are different species so the carving and painting is done differently and appropriately to match the species), all having turned heads, while the yellow-legs is in the feeding position, and they all have Casey's very own masterful way of antiquing them giving them an aged patina. You can arrange them any way you want on the stand, and Casey marked what species they are on the bottom by his signature. Casey's shorebirds have become very collectible, as he is the only person in the country who is carving such a wide variety of species in so many different positions and settings, and here are three of them together!!!!
